Dudley’s first recreational cannabis store opens its doors today, April 12, 2022. A ribbon cutting is scheduled for 9am. The store can be located at 35 Chase Avenue in Dudley located within the historic Chase Ave Mill. The retail store is the first part of a three-phase buildout within the facility which will include a cultivation and manufacturing facility to compliment the store front. Additionally, the company is in the process of constructing two additional store fronts in Lynn and Taunton.
Greatest Hits will bring a unique customer experience to its patrons. Co-Founders Joseph Villatico and Rhett Jordan have brought years of experience and knowledge to this project. Jordan is a founder of Colorado based Native Roots, which is one of the largest cannabis operations in Colorado. Villatico, who was born and raised in neighboring Webster, is a founder of numerous business ventures including a hemp operation in Colorado. Jordan and Villatico have strategically implemented a team approach that has allowed them to capture a wealth of experience in the individuals they have hired for this project. The Company has onboarded approximately 40 employees for its initial retail opening but expects that number to grow exponentially as the other phases of the project are completed. In addition, Jordan and Villatico have worked closely with the Town of Dudley and are committed to finding different avenues in which Greatest Hits can be supportive of its host town. Town officials have been extremely supportive of the new business throughout the regulatory process and have worked closely with the Company from the beginning stages of the project.
Greatest Hits will be open Sunday through Saturday from 9 am to 8 pm. Both Jordan and Villatico are excited to blend the growing cannabis market with music and its retail store showcases the blending of these two areas. Additionally, the duo is working closely with local venues to implement a concert series in the near future, which would allow for the Company to bring music artists to the area, entertain its customers, and grow its brand recognition.
